Basic Overview

This new product allows vehicle detection while ignoring animals and anything non-metallic using a buried magnetic probe under or alongside the driveway to detect a disturbance in the earth’s magnetic field as the vehicle passes.
There are 5 main components to the new kit: A magnetic probe, a ‘switch-link’ communicator, a solar panel, backup battery and a base receiver. It’s possible to mix and match sensor types. For example you could have a magnetic probe sensor on one zone and a standard beam-set on another.
  • Maximum wireless operating range between the communicator and Base Receiver is 800m but may be extended with a MegaBeam antenna.
  • Base receiver can support 4 devices; a second Magnetic Vehicle Probe kit* or a standard Beam-set* – you can mix devices.
  • Two-way wireless with supervision.
  • On-board Diagnostics. (displayed on Base Receiver)
  • Waterproof and UV stable enclosure.
  • Receiver is compatible with our Long Range UHF Pager*, POCSAG Pager*, Text Message Module* and easily interfaces with Alarm Panels.
